Uganda, in 80 Portraits
A black and white photography project
Note: I wish I could have captured this time in Kampala with more accuracy. Part of me did not want to take photos during this experience so that I could be more present in the moment. Part of me was very tired, as we danced for hours upon hours every day. Part of me knew a bunch of people were taking photos so part of me did not feel the need to document my time. However, I felt that it would be a shame to not capture any of the experience. While I wish I had portraits of everyone in my program and all the children we got to meet and all the amazing adults we got to work with, this series is meant to be an overview of what we experienced rather than an all inclusive look into our time in Kampala.
